North Yorkshire Council

The new North Yorkshire Council launches on 1st April, joining together the existing seven district councils and the county council. Harrogate Borough Council will no longer exist and all services will be provided by the new unitary authority. Having one council will end confusion over which authority is responsible for which service, plus with one set of councillors who will be accountable for the whole county, it will be clear to see who represents your local community.
